Charles-Guilllaume DHIEL (1811-1885) attributed to, Polylobed tripod book table in precious wood marquetry (amaranth, birch, ebony, maple, holly and various) with flower and foliage branches embellished with twirling butterflies. The lid is decorated with a blossoming flower following the curves of the lid. The tripod base is joined by a contoured top. The table is punctuated by lacquered bronzes inspired by an Art Nouveau floral and animal repertoire. Art Nouveau inspiration, such as grasshoppers and turtles. Late 19th or early 20th century.
