Superb and very large polychrome enameled earthenware ewer decorated with fantastical and marine animals in green monochrome on a blue background. The handle is formed by a coiled snake starting from the spout and descending to the body, ending with the head of a fantastic animal, its mouth open. On two sides, a scene depicting two lovers and a Diana the Huntress in medallions. Italy, 19th century Height: 143cm (Damage to the handle, and minor knocks)
