Very large lantern modeled after the one designed by Jacques CAFFIERI for the Château de Bellevue.
Very large ormolu vestibule lantern with six glass panels. It opens through a side door. The candelabra has six brackets with rocaille binet and curved cups.
Napoleon III period.
Based on a lantern model by Jacques CAFFIERI (1678-1755)
Beautiful work executed in the 19th century.
Height: 160cm; Width: 99cm. (Excellent condition)
Our model is identical to the lantern entered at the Palais de Fontainebleau on September 19, 1868 for the Louis-Philippe staircase (Louis XV wing).
