Large drinking cup for alcoholic magic drinks and ritual potions of the Mochica tradition intended for great and high dignitaries such as princes or kings. Bronze or brass used only for the high caste of nobles and shamans. Work in relief. Two caciques holding a sceptre of power serve as a grip. They seem to hover in the stars or constellations of the sky.
Domain of the Gods symbolized. Work in repoussé of an attached leaf. Worked with aurichalcum base, gilded bronze with chalcic alterations inside of which another has been set. H approx 18cm
